Supporting River & Sea Sense Charity
A key part of our celebrations is raising funds for River & Sea Sense, the charity partner for our first birthday celebrations.
River & Sea Sense is a not-for-profit organisation that uses rivers, lakes and coastal environments to improve physical health, mental wellbeing and social connection. Through a range of outdoor experiences and programmes, the charity helps people build confidence, improve resilience and experience the positive benefits that time spent in and around water can have on overall wellbeing.
Throughout our birthday weekend, visitors will have the opportunity to support the charity through our fundraising raffle, featuring prizes generously donated by local businesses and supporters. All proceeds will help River & Sea Sense continue their important work across our region.
